About me
I am an illustrator and associate lecturer who positions drawing, printmaking and narrative at the centre of my freelance and teaching practice. I’m particularly interested in the position of future technologies such as virtual reality and app design in education and the creative industry. I believe that healthy and considered integration of technology augmented with hands on, analogue image making techniques will help to create an inclusive learning experience for alternative learner types such as those with dyslexia. Throughout the course I would like to research and test this idea further, removing the focus from written/verbal language and emphasising visual language as a teaching methodology.
Very interesting – also interested in emerging/ future technologies – looking forward to talking more about this!
I’m interested too. I design digital experiences and have design a learning experience before (online tutoring system for children to learn maths), but in the context of UAL I’d love to know more about your ideas.
I’m also looking to schedule the peer observation. I will be in touch via email. Sophie
Great! I’d like to talk about this more, lets arrange to chat about it next time we are in E&C?
